Caption reads: "The Prisoner of Gisors" Everyone at Gisors has heard of the unknown criminal immured alive in the tomb which is still called the Prisoner's Tower where he has perpetuated his memory in bas-reliefs executed with a nail on that part of the wall where a solitary sunbeam enabled him to see.
