242: St. Laurentii Lutheran Church in Süderende, Föhr, is the church my Great-Grandfather, Theodore Arfsten, and his family belonged to.

202: Carol is the organist.
203: Chandeliers were donated to St. Laurentii by Commander Matthias Petersen and his brother Jon in thanks for their safe return from the Arctic. Peter Peterson donated the third. During World War II, locals took down these chandeliers and hid them until after the war, thus saving them from being melted down to make bullets.
204: The church building, and this baptismal, are about 800 years old.
205: The Church is restoring the paintings on the ceiling.
