441: This is an ordinary apartment building at Nordre Fasanvej 7, in the Frederiksberg neighborhood of Copenhagen. No sign of any businesses of any sort in this building. So, I think Deutsche Bahn (DB), the German railway company, should stop listing it as its agency in Copenhagen on page 17 of its list of international agencies. Providing current information would help DB's customers get service, and reduce unnecessary calls on the residents at Nordre Fasanvej 7.

441

442: This door in the suburban Valby train station is where Google says DB's agency is in Copenhagen, and it does have a DB sign on the door. So, I think it would be good of DB to see that it is staffed during the 10 am to 4 pm hours stated in its list of international agencies. [Rant over now.]

443: This statute by the lake near our hotel is a bronze cast of a 1st Century statue in the Musei Vaticani, Rome. It was discovered in 1513 in Minerva, Rome, and restored by Antonio Canova during the 19th century before being placed in Copenhagen. It depicts the Nile River as a god.

444: Gas at $7.57 per gallon would explain while so many people in Copenhagen ride bikes, buses and metro.

445: For more photos of Copenhagen's unique science museum, the Experimentarium, follow this link. See how they portray Chinese factory conditions, oil production, relaxed brain waves, doing household chores while dancing, and other unexpected perspectives on science.

490: Nørreport Station was our local transportation hub.

490

491: Nørreport Station is suituated at the site of Copenhagen's North Gate, the posh entry to the City during the Middle Ages. It was the historic separation between city and country until the gates were taken down in 1857.

491

492: A young woman walking her bicycle in the opposite direction stopped as we approached in a crowded street crossing and said to Laura, "I just have to say I love your style." This is that style, and I realize now that I don't tell Laura enough that I also love her style.

492

493: Officially called "Kongens Have" ("The King's Garden" in Danish, for King Christian IV who had it built in the early 17th Century), this park is actually known as "Rosenborg Castle Gardens." It is Copenhagen's oldest park.

496: A Viking in battle with a dragon? No. This 1881 statue by English sculptor Thomas Brock actually depicts an unnamed Native American battling a snake. The plaque on the plinth calls this statute, "Battle with a Snake," but Brock originally called it "A Moment of Peril."

496

497: This sculpture, called Løven Og Hesten (Lion and Horse), is the oldest statue in the park. King Christian IV commissioned it from Peter Husum and Jorgen Wulff. It copies a marble Roman statue on the Capitoline Hill in Rome.

497

498: Danish sculptor Robert Jacobsen made this untitled sculpture in 1984. A larger 1986 version is placed outside a bicycle factory near Bejing, China, and is called Venskab ("Friendship"). This sculpture in Rosenburg Castle Park has become a meeting point by disaffected youth including goths, punks, emos and juggalos.

498

499: Rosenburg Castle Park adjoins a military base. You can tell by the signs that say "Military Property" and no drones allowed.

499

500: Laura made this half-sheet list of all her allergies so that she could help chefs make meals compliant with her diet. The other side lists foods she can eat. It helped her stay compliant even if it meant eating less protein than we are used to.

501: Our last picture in Europe, from the Copenhagen Airport. In the US, I think people would object to public art that portrayed only white people. I think they should do so in Denmark, too.
