An exhibit that peeks into a Chinese factory of the type that makes so many of our consumer and electronic products.
This exhibit gives as an opportunity to see if we can balance containers on a cargo ship without tipping it over. It is not easy. The containers do not all have the same weight. It is easier to understand now why Disasters At Sea has so many episodes!
In this exhibit, turning a handle (not shown) generates electricity that performs electrolysis on the water to separate the hydrogen and oxygen gases. When enough gases are generated, a countdown begins and then a spark ignites the gases and sends the rocket surprisingly high. Kids were not the only ones that loved this exhibit.
This exhibit demonstrates how solar panels work. A button turns on the floodlight pointed at the panels.
Then the needle on this meter moves ever so slightly up, proving that the panels generated electricity.
This group of exhibits shows various methods used to extract American, North Sea and Arabian oil, and the viscosity of the crude produced. I notice that the Americans use unnamed chemicals to frack out their oil, and produce a more viscous product.
How you can feel the viscosity for yourself.
This is perhaps the most uniquely Danish exhibits. Two visitors put on headbands with electrodes. The panel explains how it measures alpha and theta brain waves. Then the two contestants compete to see who can be the most focused and relaxed as measured in the panel below.
I wonder if I would have performed differently before I quit my job?
An exhibit about a genuine controversy over the use of science, specifically whether Denmark (or anyone) should make a DNA database of the public. The exhibit thoughtfully presents the opposing views of two white men.

Hmm. Anyone know where all the organs go?
 Laura uses the microscope camera.
Up close, it seems to show blue fabric. I always knew that Laura was knitted together well.
This exhibit thoughtfully and playfully demonstrates the different roles played in the immune system by macrophages (that generally seek to eat up viruses) and t-cells (that identify invasive microbes and launch a more targetted immune response. In this cel, a virus has just entered a cell and begun to convert it into a virus factory.
This exhibit measures how high you can jump.
I did not make the cut.
 Laura is measuring her endurance.
This exhibit is for teams to measure their stretching.
This one tests a teams ability to turn household chores into dances.
For anyone who thought I left the ratrace, I regret to show you this.

We had to collect these balls into a wheelbarrow, move them into the starting trough and then pedal to turn the conveyor to move the balls to the top.
Then the balls roll down this.
 Bubbles!
Connect gears while watching Modern Times with Charlie Chaplin.

This suitcase has a gyroscope inside, making it harder to turn when it is spinning.
This exhibit shows how a safety jacket improves one's visibility on low light levels.
The photo in the right side of this panel shows how an ability to balance weight is important for marine safety.
Here is what we can balance on.
This exhibit demonstrates the importance of paying attention and avoiding distractions while driving. Missing from this exhibit is any ability to slow down. Do not attempt the brainwave competition after trying this driving exhibit!
Would you like to test your ability to come up with new ideas? We would if we could figure out how.
Roof top exhibits and play areas.
 Rooftop view
 The spiral stairs.
